This blog, however, is about none of that. It's just a look at the interesting lack of blowback from my post of yesterday. There was a bit, not a lot. And it was mostly respectful and polite. Maybe people aren't all that interested in what I think of things beyond my life with ALS. I don't know.
My name is Richard McBride and I have ALS. I was diagnosed in November 2012 at 57 years of age. This blog will cover my journey. Just remember, I am living with ALS, not dying from it. **Richard passed away 9/26/18 naturally, and NOT from ALS - he beat that sucker!!**

Going Rogue
It's Monday, and that means video blog. First of all, is this still a good idea, or are the video blogs boring yet? Second, are they too long, or too short? Third, what would you like to see in my apartment? I can move the camera around if you wish.

I would love to see the elevator, the parking space, the view out the window... Do a "cribs" style tour... For a future visdeo blog, how about a ride-along in your chair to the mall, or another errand using mass transit in a wheelchair.
ReplyDeleteThe videos are great (just try to mindful of the sound quality), and three minutes is about right.
ReplyDeleteRichard: I don't leave a comment daily but I do read them all. I'll have a hard time deciding whether I like the video or the written one more. I would like to see the sling you talk about ... basically the entire apartment :-)
ReplyDeleteYes , a crib style view of your apartment!
ReplyDeleteAnd some of us read daily but rarely comment (me for instance). As far as the political comments, I'm trying to stay away from those, because every time I state my opinion, I get bashed (not meaning from you, just in general).
ReplyDeleteAs far as whatever you write; it's YOUR blog. Write whatever you feel like writing!
I read everyday, never miss it but prefer you keep to the script, I read for insights rather than political opinion. Wish you all the best as ever..
ReplyDeleteI would like to see the balcony and your view and the living room.
